COMMENT ON Switchover of Existing Central Chilled Water System Chillers and Cooling Tower 58-CT-1 to New JCI Controllers and Programming
All chillers, pumps, fans, and valves have been switched to manual operation to support switchover to new controls. Cooling tower primary controller has been removed and the new controller is being installed. Cooling tower system points will be checked and programming will be checked in preparation for eventual switchover to automatic control. Chiller primary controller will be turned off and removed Tuesday morning so systems need to be monitored closely and verified continuing to function properly without controller online. New primary chiller controller will be installed Tuesday.

COMMENT ON Harp Assembly Replacement - SAM 2025
Vacuum group: do you have a cart with slow vent, or can I put in double flapper valves to protect the foils for the degrader experiment?
Leo and Michael - do we normally ever trigger the fast valve for work like this? there are already 3 valves between the venting section and the booster

COMMENT ON Harp Assembly Replacement - SAM 2025
I confirmed the thin degrader carbon foils share the same vacuum space with the harp 0L03. To minimize risk of tearing foils we need a very slow bleed up and pump down. We typically use backed butterfly valves to do this, takes a little longer, but proven to work well. CIS can help/support, please coordinate with degrader hardware owner, Marcy.
Thank you for doing this job, important for degraded beams and injector setup, good luck!
