Chiller beam data time scale
As Nick has correctly pointed out, the time range of the BPM data taken on 12/19/25 with chiller on vs. chiller off only contains enough data for one period of 120 Hz, not 60 Hz. I missed this during the measurement. As a result, one cannot tell if 60 Hz is present in the data or not; the visible component is 120 Hz. Sorry for the confusion.
This doesn't change the conclusion; however, should the magnetic field probe be insensitive to 120 Hz, it may not see the field.
Wien Chiller is Huge EM Source
Max's beam studies found EM noise on the beam around 1I02 region. When I did my last 60 Hz survey, it turns out the chiller was off.
Today, with Jay, we did search for 60 Hz noise. The chiller is huge source and by the beamline, the noise is still large - see photos 1-3.
The LO chiller in the Injector Service Building is much better, about two orders of magnitude smaller - see photo 4.
