The safety system is 24V supplied the "Main Control Chassis" at the bottom of IN01B03. It doesn't say where it comes from. Unplugging the 4-pin Burndy on the back (I'd do both) will power the safety system off. Based on the drawings (I attached) unplugging for a few seconds should duplicate the power loss that was seen to safety hardware - crash buttons, smoke alarm, etc. The drawings show an indicator going to EPICS, so Ops should see the safety system fail. After you plug back in, the green indicator should be lit on the front, indicating all OK.

F&O cycled the power to the laser room but the laser safety system stayed on. Apparently the safety is on the clean power, same as the room emergency lights. I checked the interlock buttons and they worked as expected. Crashing any of these buttons disabled the lasers and left the room door unlocked. I did not try to trigger the smoker detector as it needs help from the Fire Protection Coordinator. The lasers were brought back afterwards and are running.
