Injector alarm handler

1 hour 32 minutes ago
Log Number: 4496669Logbook(s): Body:

Responded to an unacknowledgeable VIP alarm in the 2I region. The alarm’s .ACKS field was in an INVALID state and could not be acknowledged by Operations.

Restarting the alarm handler cleared this issue. However, upon restart, it was determined that _TEMPERATURE alarms were being incorrectly applied to dipoles driven by 20A trim cards. The configuration rules were corrected and the generation scripts were rerun, removing the invalid TEMPERATURE alarm from the system.

Sudden jumps in 0I05 Horizontal position correlated with Hall B current losses

5 hours 2 minutes ago
Log Number: 4496638Logbook(s): Entry Makers: alexsBody:

Three times in the past half hour, we've noticed a sudden drop in Hall B's current that recovers over the course of less than five minutes. These drops coincide with a sudden jump of a few hundred microns in the horizontal position at IPM0I05. The cause, like many others at the moment, is unclear. The chopper appears to be behaving normally. If you squint, there appears to be some vacuum activity that might suggest something in the chopper is charging and discharging, but it's hard to tell.
