COMMENT ON Measure Magnet Klixon Resistance Values at the Input Connector to the Magnet Interlock Interface Chassis
Victor Chaudhary and I measured the resistance of each magnet's klixon string for the magnets comprising ARC's 2, 4, 6 and 8, as well as their associated Spreader, Recombiner and Transport Region magnets for the West ARC of the accelerator. All measurements appeared to be in an acceptable range of 5 to 50 ohms with two exceptions. ARC6 Spreader magnet MABS06 klixon circuit measured open and MBB6A19 measured 70Kohms. We plugged in all the Latching chassis to make sure all the klixon circuits were making up and all looks good even the two ARC6 magnets with the questionable readings.

COMMENT ON Summer SAD 2024 SRF Vacuum Activities
2L04. Module ready for 4k cool down Thursday. Final insulating vacuum leak check good. Minimal detectable leak 1e-9. Flooded everything with helium on the module. Beamline & waveguide pressures look good. Actively pumping on the insulating vacuum in preparation for 4k cool down.

COMMENT ON PM Electrical Distribution - Accelerator Emergency Loop
Work to be re-scheduled after CHL2 comes back on-line, expected mid August. Vac group to provide a coordinator with Paul for Start/Stop coordination between Facilities and other groups. Expect start time to be at approx 9:30 AM. Will start with South Loop and finish with North Loop.

BNC Connectors replaced from SEE BPM RF Module IPM2R03 in West Arc Recombiner Region
Here is an example of why we are replacing the RG58 cables and BNC connectors attached to the SEE BPM RF Modules. Attached to this log is an image of two BNC connectors being replaced. The top BNC connectors are the old connectors that show radiation deterioration to the dielectric. The top right connector shows the worst deterioration, where the dielectric was brittle enough to snap off without any force.

UHV ion pumps ready for EM loop maintenance
The UHV ion pumps in the injector were cycled off with the 18V supply, then the 18V supply was moved from the EM power in rack 27 to regular power in rack 25. The pumps came back on with no problem.
There is an orange extension cord on the floor between the two racks, and contact information in case there are questions. This will be restored to normal Thursday after EM power maintenance.
