Follow-up Re: FFTs Spectra of Injector BPMs
Back in the late 1990s I did simulations of the effects of intensity modulation on the indicated positions for SEE BPMs. See attached from the beam instrumentation workshop in 2000. I did not take it out to 28 kHz but intensity modulation at that frequency will cause issues if you are using linac style BPMs. Transport style BPMs are under sampled at 28 kHz intensity modulation. It may be best to use a BCM cavity to confirm the frequency content and magnitude of intensity modulation at 28 kHz.
