Start of shift: Machine tuning/steering in progress.
Crew Chief Timesheet Summary: 25 May 2026 SWING
NL ODH Head (OMNL09) in Minor Alarm
BLM's in the early NL (mostly 1L08) & 1L08 NDX rates
Things are getting very tangled.
Between the high interception (suspect to be charging/discharging around/within the chopper)
And rise in BLM's in the early NL (1L08,9,10) around ~19:45 today
The North Linac service building RAD#5 alarm
all these things happening around/at the same time...
Also NL GP seems to be getting more and more slippy. But if I can simply adjust GP and bring down Upstream Halo's (and probably IDX 3S00 as well) then I'll take it as a god thing
Overall, something sad is happening in the north.
ILM1L08 (BLM constant Instent Latch Fault) + surrounding BLM's high
North Linac BLM activity is very jumpy compared to what we usually see. 1L08 seems to be in continuous fault with surrounding zones also riding high...
and we still have interception issues in the injector which are shaking everything every time we get a 'suspect' discharge
MQA9A19 mismatch
MBC4R06H TC swapped second time
I noticed while swapping this that the red light at CR32 was blinking on both the second card that had been placed into ch 17, and the third which I put in. I didnt swap out the first one so I'm not positive if it was blinking on that card also. None of the other cards in that bay (third bay down on rack NL01B02) had CR32 lit up.
Downtime Incident CLOSED: MBC4R06H mismatch, will not take setpoint
Downtime Incident CREATED: MBC4R06H mismatch, will not take setpoint
RM05 in alarm
Anaomalous spike in IIX6S01 and INX1L08 just before CARM RM05 trip
Anaomalous spike in IIX6S01 and INX1L08 just before CARM RM05 (N. Access bldg) trip. Noted that both of these detectors are sensitive to the drift in NL gang phase and they drop to reasonable values when the machine is on crest.
Also noted that the injector interception was lower when we resumed beam delivery.
0L02 tripped
INJ & NL dropped Beam --> Power
Hall C fast feedback On
Turned FFB on once things settled down and we were smooth sailing again. A bit of a disruption once it came on, but not enough movement to trip beam.
Noticed that once it came on, position signals 3C(12,7,16,....) are getting noisy
However, lock positions seem happier.
For now, I'm going to let it ride.
Overall, IonChamber rates seem unaffected (not better, not worse)
Regardless, I'll keep an eye on it through shift
