Hall is authorized up to 60 uA CW.
Per Operational Restrictions, with the Carbon Optics Target, the hall may receive up to 60 uA CW with raster A on at V=1.3409 & H=1.2068.
Max Juice is set to 7 uA
Raster A is on at V=1.3409 & H=1.2068.
Cooling Jets are OK.
Ramp Protection is ON
Ion Chambers are set using the "Carbon Optics" calibration for 5uA with a 30% margin.
The Hall A optics are such that the last six quads are off . As a consequence C19 and C20 quads can be used to adjust the beam envelope.
As a general rule, you should find that for both X and Y, size at H04B > size at H04A, that is the beam is diverging (on purpose).
If the Hall A staff tells you that beam is :
too big in X:
reduce the amplitude of MQR1C20 (less positive)
too big in Y:
reduce the amplitude of MQR1C19 (make it less negative)
if its too small do the opposite.
Alternatively , you can also use matching quads ike 1C08.
