NMR measurement complete for Hall A - proceed with beam delivery of 35uA on Pol He3.
1. Unmask Target
2. Open the slit
3. Turn on current lock
4. Send requested CW beam (starting off with 5uA and walking the hall current levels up to requested 35uA)
Another Adjustment at 8E02.X to bring down (bleedthru) xA IC chamber rates
Figure 1: Right around midnight got a spate of 8E02 BLM, and xA ion chamber trips. Mostly the 1H05 and 1H00 ion chambers. By the end of Operator passdown, couldn't even send 3uA to xA without ion chambers, with PolHe3 target in.
Had Hall A move to no target. Once slit was opened, before sending any beam to xA, and with 30uA to xC, found bleedthru alone to xA was putting appreciable signal on the 1H05 IC, Figure 2. Took a look at 8E02.X position. Last night, see linked log, had a good deal of success moving the C-beam alone on 8E02.X positon to ~4.8mm rather than the nominal 5.5mm.
